Edited by architects Sophie Dars and Carlo Menon, Accattone was launched in collaboration with graphic designers Ishmaël Bennani and Orfée Grandhomme of Überknackig Studio to address themes of contemporary architecture culture. ‘The fact that the magazine is rooted in Brussels is not neutral: the ideal point to engage experiences and collaborations throughout Europe, Brussels is also a place where architecture debate lacks support… Like all non-commercial magazines, it is at once a pretext and an end in itself; a pretext to approach subject matters keen to the editors, and a printed, finished object.’
